Great and Precious Promises

MMCC 17th Year Anniversary

2Peter 1:4 ESV …by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.

Last July 2, 2006, the Metro Manila Christian Church had a congregational worship service and different activities at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in celebration of its 17th year with the theme “Great and Precious Promises”. Not even the Pacquiao-Larios Fight could stop disciples and guests from coming to the celebration. Disciples from around the Metro flocked to PICC and were very eager and excited to be in fellowship again with disciples from other regions. But they are not the only ones who attended the event. Disciples from Laoag all the way up north to Zamboanga all the way down south were present. We are grateful for Gordon and Theresa Ferguson, Ken and Debbie Burford, as well as Jerry Jones (all from the Phoenix church) for sharing in our celebration. Gordon's message was indeed life-changing, and continues to resonante until today. Press on, Manila church! Let us take hold of God's great and precious promises
