Praise God for missionary hearts! The gospel burned brightly in the hearts of those who attended the Bohol Missions Devotional last June 24 at Jolibee Holiday Plaza, Pasay City. About sixty were from Manila and the rest were from Cebu and Tacloban. After an introduction and 'trivia game' time by Rolan Monje, Cebu Evangelist Danny Cabadsan gave an inspiring charge about the mission mindset.

Tagbilaran, Bohol is set to be planted around summer of 2008, with team selections from Manila and Visayas Churches. Metro Cebu is conducting special collections for the funding of the mission planting.

We came thirsting for God and left with cups overflowing.

More than three thousand disciples converged last June at the Philippine International Convention Center for “Believe,” the 2007 Asian Christian Jubilee. The Spirit truly moved to inspire, convict, and energize the fellowship of disciples from eight Asian nations, the Middle East, Micronesia, and North America.

Attendees were quick to appreciate certain aspects of the event: the austere yet worshipful atmosphere, the mixed group prayer time Friday morning, the free evening time for longer fellowship, the well-tailored breakout classes. The plenary session and closing Sunday service featured Frank Kim and Gordon Ferguson, men of God who pointed us to soul-searching and forward-thinking.
